How to Listen
What’s a podcast?
A podcast is a downloadable audio file that you can listen to on your computer or a personal MP3 player.
How do I listen?
You can listen to Distillations in one of three ways:
1. Simply click on the “Listen now” and the episode will begin playing on your computer.
2. Download the episode you wish to hear as an MP3 and play it later on your computer or MP3 device.
3. Subscribe to the podcast for automatic delivery every time a new episode becomes available.
Do I need an iPod or MP3 player to listen to this podcast?
No. You can listen to the podcast directly on your computer. However, you will need MP3 player software, such as Windows Media Player, Real Audio, or iTunes.
How do I subscribe?
Simply click on one of the subscription icons in the left toolbar. Currently you may subscribe via either iTunes or RSS. To subscribe via RSS feed, you will need an RSS reader (also called an aggregator) that will download and display your feeds. Copy and paste the RSS URL into your reader:

If you prefer to subscribe via iTunes, you will be asked to launch iTunes on your computer. Follow the instructions, then click on subscribe.

Hello,
I’d like to listen to Distillations. The instructions say to click on the listen icon. What does the icon look like and where can I find it?
Underneath the summary for each episode, you should see a small icon that resembles a speaker. Next to the icon you should see the word “Listen” followed by the name of the episode. Just click and listen!
