Our Look
The Distillations banner and logo are created from images found in The Roy G. Neville Historical Chemical Library, housed at CHF. Our banner has images from three books: Antoine Laurnet Lavoisier’s Traité élémentaire de chimie; Otto von Guericke’s Experimenta nova (ut vocantur) Magdeburgica de vacuo spatio primùm; and Nicaise Le Fèvre’s A compleat body of chymistry. The logo image is created from Leonhard Thurneisser zum Thurn’s Pison.
